CONFERENCE

The day after eternity will we still be alive?

For an ecology of time

Conference presentation

What if we gave time its true value?

Our technological paradigm makes our society believe that everything can be solved with a click. « We lose proximity, time for patience, time for maturation. We also gain in exigency: « the click veils us from the process to see only the result. We remain immature in a pseudo immediacy » (…)

« We do not lack actions, we lack a contemplation from which action can be profound. We do not lack working days, we lack Saturdays when it is no longer a question of producing goods, but of gathering them to enjoy them around a meal, in nature, in the proximity of human and divine communion. »
